Tourist Apartment Management in Soria
Soria is both a province and a city, located in the eastern part of Castilla y León. After the settlement of the Celtiberian tribes, the land was first conquered by Rome and then by the Christian and Muslim kingdoms. In the medieval period, the region was an important center for wool production. As industrialization took hold in Europe, Soria became increasingly rural. Military enlistment and emigration depopulated the region again under Francisco Franco's dictatorship.

A little further south of the Plaza Mayor, the Church of Santo Domingo is undoubtedly a must-visit site in Soria. It was built in the 14th century and renovated in the 16th century. It was also used in the 19th century as the headquarters for French troops. On the outskirts, we find the Hermitage of San Bartolomé, a Baroque temple built over the cave where this saint, the city's patron, lived. His relics are venerated inside, decorated with frescoes by the Sorian painter Antonio Zapata.
