Tourist apartment management in Cuenca

In the city of Cuenca, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it will be hard not to fall in love with its cobblestone streets and houses delicately hanging over the cliff. Cuenca is divided into two parts: the new city and the old walled city, located atop a mountain. While there are some museums in the newer and lower part of the city, most tourist attractions are found in the old town.

The Cathedral of Saint Mary the Greater, dating back to the 12th century, stands on the site of a mosque from hundreds of years earlier. Among the most important landmarks of Cuenca, the San Pablo Bridge is one of the most popular, a pedestrian bridge originally built in the 16th century to connect the San Pablo convent with the old town across the Huécar River. The Hanging Houses are Cuenca’s main attraction. With their wooden balconies, they used to line much of the cliffs, but now only a few remain. Dating back to the 14th century, it’s quite impressive that some of them can still be admired and even visited inside.
